What to Expect

We worship every Sunday morning at 8:00 and 10:30 am.

LCHS offers worship that is grounded in Lutheran Theology.  We gather to experience God’s grace. We hear that grace as the stories of the Bible are interpreted in light of current events and applied to daily living. We taste grace in the bread and wine of Holy Communion. We touch grace in the gestures of welcome from the people gathered together.  We have Communion every Sunday and all are welcome to the table!

Children have a central place in worship. Although a nursery is available, we love kids and encourage them to take part in the service. Children are invited to reflect on the readings with the pastor during a special children's time.  They are also invited to help with "noisy offering" and serving communion.
