Please make time for “Dialogues on Race”
– a seven session journey into the issues of race and racism in our church and society.
In these sessions, we will practice being a caring community – turning conflict into an opportunity for growth and connection. We will create a space for difficult conversations – allowing opinions to be heard and respected. The church should be a place where anti-racism is actively lived-out – How can we live as people of faith and continue to support racist systems and structures? It’s time for us to move from “not being racist,” to people of faith who are anti-racist in our theology, actions, advocacy, and whole being. This change doesn’t happen overnight, so we best get started . . .
Please email Pastor Gordy firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in being part of a group. We will meet via ZOOM each week, and different days/times are available. The participant book is $10.
